The Homestead Fieldbook brings together homeschooling, practical projects, nature observations, and family responsibilities. The starting point is a real question, not a publishing schedule.
Useful before polished
We want this to become a record of what we try, what needs adjusting, and what is worth doing again. The materials are starting points for families to adapt, not a complete curriculum or a prescription for how to homeschool.
The work is the subject
Projects, notebooks, materials, and diagrams can tell the story without making children’s faces or private lives part of the public record. The launch illustrations are drawings, not photographs of our property.
A small beginning
The first six field notes are in editorial review. The learning library contains new sample printables with clear instructions and adult notes. Real measurements, photographs, and observations will be added where they help explain the work.
